My Story

 

Hello, my fellow book lovers! My name is Miranda and welcome to my blog. To be honest, when I was little, I was not into reading AT ALL. The only books I enjoyed reading back then were Goosebumps and Judy B Jones. I would always dread reading books for school. As an adult, I started to understand how enjoyable reading can be. When I’m lost in the story my background fades away and I forget where I am. Authors truly have a talent of transporting you into the story. When I’m having a bad day, I pick up a book and let the story take me away. I am old fashion when it comes to reading books. I enjoy going to a bookstore, taking my time (hours) looking for my next few books, and being able to physically hold the book rather than listening or viewing an electronic. Don’t get me wrong, audible books and nooks are fun too! I just love the nostalgia of seeing my books sitting on my bookshelf, which is currently overfilling.

I thought it would be fun to create this blog and connect with other book lovers. I want to be able to share my thoughts on books that I have read. Some books I will be reading for the first time while others I will re-read because why not? Hopefully, in the future I will be able to travel to local bookstores around the country and share my experiences with everyone.
